A stunning pair of Georgian inspired paste drop earrings, each set with two sparkling rose cut paste stones with neat triangular facets that raise to a central point. The silver, closed-back galleries have been converted from an antique Georgian necklace and feature engraved edges and new 18ct gold hook wires on top.

Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that has been used since ancient times to simulate the beauty of gemstones. The art of cutting paste takes expert craftsmanship and the highest quality stones are often able to replicate the cut, colour and sparkle of natural gems to near perfection.
