A fabulous Antique Suffragette pendant from the early 20th Century decorated with white Pearls, green Peridots and a lovely violet Amethyst in the centre (0.60ct approx.)
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
It's a wonderful open worked diamond-shaped design fashioned in 9ct Yellow Gold with lovely foliate motifs. It would look perfect on a gold chain and in excellent condition.
