This grand Antique Georgian Ring has been beautifully preserved from the early 1800s and boasts an enchanting blue Paste Stone which has been foil backed in a robust Silver mount.
Paste is a transparent flint glass that is cut to simulate the beauty of gemstones. Blue Pastes have the alluring qualities of Aquamarines and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
The closed backed gallery is typical of the Georgian era and is all 18ct Yellow Gold including the shank which has ornate split shoulders.
The ring is spectacular and has a good solid weight to it. It is steeped in history and showcases the grandeur of Georgian design and workmanship.
