A fabulous Edwardian era antique Suffragette bangle decorated with seed pearls, two cabochon peridots and an amethyst spread out across the face.
Together the colours of each stone show support for the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th Century and symbolise; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The bangle is made in the Art Nouveau style with a flowing, open-worked design featuring scrolling metalwork and foliate motifs fashioned expertly in 9ct gold.
It looks beautiful wrapped around the wrist and is held securely by a box clasp and safety chain at the side.
